Dr. Staab serves as Principal Engineering Fellow at Nightwing, leading the development of innovation and technology strategies in areas such as defense, national security, federal, and civilian. He has an extensive background in multidisciplinary Research & Development (R&D), technology strategy and roadmap development, and advanced systems engineering. He is a recognized subject matter expert in AI/ML, Analytics, Cybersecurity, Distributed Systems, Automation, and Robotics. He has contributed to over 50 publications and holds eight issued and ten pending patents. His current research focuses on GenAI, Data Intelligence, Quantum Security, Augmented Reality, and the Metaverse.
Dr. Staab received a Diplom-Informatiker (FH) degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, Germany, and holds Master of Science and Doctorate degrees in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico.
