Jay Schroeder is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at CNH. He leads the Company’s global R&D community with direct responsibility for areas which include Technology, Innovation, Vehicle & Implements, Precision Technology, User Experience and Powertrain. He is tasked with strengthening our product portfolio and precision tech stack to seamlessly integrate precision solutions across our equipment portfolio, grow our alternative propulsion offering, and provide governance for product development. All of these efforts ensure the Company’s vast product portfolio meets the highest quality and performance standards for our customers.
Mr. Schroeder’s career at CNH spans three decades during which he has played a pivotal role in advancing R&D for the Agriculture segment. Prior to his most recent appointment in 2024, he was responsible for global Agriculture Product Development from 2021.
He has grown to roles of increasing responsibility in the R&D function and the following reflects his past appointments from the most recent: Global Head of Large Tractor Product Line & Precision Ag Electronics; Vice President of Product Development and Vehicle & Precision Electronics; Global Leader for the Crop Harvesting Product Line; Senior Director of Engineering for the Combine & Header Product Line; Global Platform Manager; Global Product Manager for Combines, Headers & Precision Farming; and Driveline Engineer, the role in which he began his career with CNH in 1994.
Jay Schroeder holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University and an MBA from the Quinlan School of Management at Loyola University, both in the USA.
