EPAM Releases DIAL 3.0

EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE: EPAM), a leading digital transformation services and product engineering company, today announced the release of DIAL 3.0, the next iteration of its open-source GenAI platform. More than just a platform release, DIAL 3.0 embodies EPAM’s broader vision for enabling enterprise AI adoption through a modular, open-source approach – one that balances innovation velocity with long-term control, interoperability and responsible governance.

As enterprises navigate an increasingly complex AI ecosystem marked by rapid model evolution, vendor consolidation and heightened compliance expectations, EPAM continues to invest in open source platforms as a foundational enabler. DIAL 3.0 is the latest expression of this philosophy—a platform designed to help clients accelerate value delivery while avoiding vendor lock-in, bridging commercial models with open innovation.

“Many of our clients are at a strategic crossroads, whether to build in-house capabilities or commit to commercial GenAI platforms,” said Arseny Gorokh, VP of AI Enablement and Growth at EPAM. “We believe the answer is a hybrid strategy that combines the structure of platform thinking with the flexibility of open source, enabling organizations to move faster. DIAL was built to make that strategy real.”

Since its initial launch in 2023, DIAL has matured from an internal enablement tool into a comprehensive framework used by global clients in financial services, healthcare, insurance, consumer packaged goods, retail and more to operationalize Generative AI. With version 3.0, EPAM introduces a platform that not only supports agentic workflows and data-native reasoning but also addresses key structural challenges of deploying AI at scale in production across business functions. It also introduces new approaches to working with structured and unstructured data using AI and fosters collaboration across entire enterprises.

“We’ve engineered DIAL to help organizations translate domain knowledge into deployable logic across use cases, departments and geographies,” said Ilya Gorelik, VP and Head of DIALX at EPAM. “Whether you’re a compliance analyst, clinical researcher or operations lead, DIAL provides the infrastructure to develop, monitor and iterate AI systems with precision.”

Altera Digital Health, an early adopter of DIAL since its first release, exemplifies the value of EPAM’s continued investment in open-source innovation.

“When we first started using DIAL, our goal was straightforward: improve efficiency in our operations,” said Dr. Bob Taylor, Chief Product Strategist at Altera Digital Health. “What really convinced us about EPAM’s approach is the continued evolution of DIAL and their clear commitment to keeping the platform open and transparent. This has given us confidence and trust as we scale our AI solutions.”
